Become a member of The Party Line’s Street Team to help spread the word about upcoming shows!  Members of the StreetTeam receive free tickets to shows and other exclusives! 

Your grassroots efforts can help drive the success of our tour.  YOU have the ability to spread the word to the folks in your community and create a buzz about our upcoming shows.

What do members of the StreetTeam do?

1. place stickers and posters at local coffee houses, music halls, music stores, colleges, libraries, or anywhere music lovers congregate
2. organize and bring friends out to the show; BRING YOUR PARTY LINE!
3. post info about the band and tour to music forums and online bulletin boards
4. share information about our upcoming shows on your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages

We are so honored to have been played as frequently as we were, and to share the honors with so many wonderful artists who also released albums in 2013.  We can’t wait for 2014!!!

WE DID IT!!  BIKE RIDE DEBUTED AT #1!!!

Your overwhelming support made our Bike Ride video the #1 video in the CMT Pure Country’s 12-Pack Countdown this week!!!!   Dycee Wildman  (http://dyceewildman.com), our director/producer and friend, really made a beautiful work of art and I am so pleased that CMT has given us this opportunity to get it in front of a broader audience.   

I had a great time working with Robby Hecht (http://www.robbyhecht.com) on this song, and cannot say how thrilled I am by the number of people who took the time to vote, and vote again, for the video.  

You’ve made me feel like we truly accomplishing one of our goals: We travel around playing music we love in an attempt to use it to create experiences that build community. You’ve shown me the power of community.  I mean, you lifted us, a totally DIY Indie band, up among major label artists.  YOU are OUR Party Line.

Nora Jane and The Party Line are honored to have been selected to announce the 2014 lineup for MerleFest!  Throughout their Fall Tour, Nora Jane & TPL will be posting video clips announcing another artist who will be sharing the bill at this most wonderful festival!

MerleFest’s Steve Johnson got things started with the Road to MerleFest by letting Nora Jane & TPL make the first announcement — that Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line were themselves selected to play MerleFest 2014:

If you aren’t familiar with MerleFest, you should be!  MerleFest is considered one of the premier music festivals in the country, serving as an annual homecoming for musicians and music fans on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. MerleFest was founded in 1988 in memory of the late Eddy Merle Watson, son of American music legend Doc Watson, who passed away May 29, 2012.  MerleFest is a celebration of “traditional plus” music, a unique mix of music based on the traditional, roots-oriented sounds of the Appalachian region, including bluegrass and old-time music, and expanded to include Americana, country, blues, rock and many other styles. The festival hosts over 90 artists, performing on 14 stages during the course of the four-day event. The annual event has become the primary fundraiser for the WCC Endowment Corporation, funding scholarships, capital projects and other educational needs.
