Born in Richmond, Virginia and raised in Carroll County, Maryland, Joshua Vana became a full-time member of the Party Line in 2014. Now 26, the multi-instrumentalist (electric and acoustic guitars, harmonica) grew up on his parents’ LPs and picked up an electric guitar at age eleven.

During his eight years in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, he fronted and played in several local bands, performed as a singer and songwriter, and has been a part owner of the Little Grill Collective, a worker-owned restaurant in Harrisonburg. During that time, he was a member of the Charlottesville-based honky tonk outfit The Clear Blue Sky with fellow Party Line band mate Joe Overton. He currently calls Keezletown, Virginia home, sweet home.
